It is not recommended to keep different species of poison dart frogs together in the same enclosure, as they may exhibit aggressive behavior towards each other or even crossbreed, which can have negative consequences for the health of the frogs. It is best to house strawberry poison dart frogs and blue poison dart frogs separately in their own enclosures to ensure their well-being and prevent any potential conflicts. Each species has specific care requirements that should be met to keep them healthy and thriving. **

Poison dart frogs are a group of brightly colored frogs found in Central and South America. They secrete toxins through their skin, which can be lethal to predators. These toxins are used as a defense mechanism to protect the frogs from being eaten. Despite their name, not all poison dart frogs are deadly to humans, but they should still be handled with caution. **

Poison dart frogs are typically kept in a terrarium that mimics their natural habitat, such as a rainforest environment. The terrarium should have plenty of plants for hiding spots and climbing, as well as a shallow water dish for drinking and soaking. The substrate should be kept moist, and the temperature and humidity levels should be carefully monitored and maintained. It is important to provide a varied diet of insects for the frogs to ensure their nutritional needs are met. **

Poison dart frogs do not actually touch their prey with their skin. Instead, they use their long, sticky tongues to catch insects and other small prey. Their skin contains toxins that can be harmful to predators, so they rely on their quick and accurate tongue to catch their food without having to touch it directly. This unique hunting method allows them to avoid potential harm from their own toxins while still being effective predators. **

Indiana poison dart frogs are a species of small, brightly colored frogs native to the rainforests of South America. They are known for their vibrant colors and toxic skin secretions, which are used by indigenous tribes to poison the tips of blow darts for hunting. Despite their name, Indiana poison dart frogs are not actually found in the state of Indiana, but rather in the tropical regions of Central and South America. They are popular in the exotic pet trade due to their striking appearance, but their care can be challenging as they require specific environmental conditions and a diet of live insects. **

Strawberry poison dart frogs and blue dart frogs can be kept together in the same vivarium as long as certain conditions are met. It is important to provide enough space and hiding spots to prevent aggression and territorial behavior. Additionally, both species require similar environmental conditions, including high humidity and a variety of live plants for cover. It is also crucial to provide a diverse diet to ensure both species receive proper nutrition. Regular monitoring of the frogs' behavior and health is essential to ensure they are cohabitating peacefully. **

After exposure to the poison of a blue dart poison frog, the action potential in the nervous system may be affected. The poison contains alkaloids that can block sodium channels, leading to a decrease in the ability of neurons to generate action potentials. This can result in paralysis and potentially death in the prey or predator that comes into contact with the poison. The altered action potential can disrupt normal nerve function and lead to severe physiological effects. **

The poison of the poison dart frog contains toxins called batrachotoxins, which can have a paralyzing effect on the nervous system. When ingested or absorbed through the skin, these toxins can cause muscle paralysis, cardiac arrest, and even death in some cases. The potency of the poison varies among different species of poison dart frogs, with some being more toxic than others. The bright colors of the frog serve as a warning to potential predators to stay away, as the poison can have severe effects on those who come into contact with it. **
